The lodge is situated on
White Cross Bay Leisure Park and Marina, on the A591 between Windermere and Ambleside. Our lodge is in a peaceful part of the park within the woodland area. This website is our own website to promote OUR
lodge. It is not the official White Cross Bay website.
Could we purchase a Lodge in Windermere and rent it out?

How many lodges do you own?
ONLY ONE!! Although there are many others on the holiday park
we only own one. We may be able to put you in touch with other private owners who are willing to rent their lodges to guests. If you are hoping to holiday with other families/friends and require two
lodges please enquire and we will see what we can do to help.
What facilities does the lodge have?
Open plan kitchen/diner/lounge
Kitchen - Gas cooker, fridge, mircrowave, kettle, toaster, storage cupboards, cutlery and crockery, dining table and chairs (to seat four).
Lounge
- Three seater sofa and 1 armchair, tv/video with selected satellite channels, dvd player, coffee tables, gas fire, radio/cd player, cupboard with games/videos/dvds/cds/books/tourist information
French doors to:
Veranda with dining furniture for 4 people
Double bedroom - double bed, wardrobe, bedside cabinets, electric panel heater
Twin bedroom - 2 single beds, wardrobe, bedside cabinet, electric panel heater
Bathroom - vanity basin/unit, toilet, large shower, heated towel rail, storage cupboard
What is included in the price?
The price is for the lodge not per person. Duvets and pillows are provided but bed linen and towels are not included. Gas and electric are included.
Can I park close to the lodge?
Yes, there is parking for 2 cars right next to the lodge. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any damage to or loss from your
vehicle. The site has security barriers in place and you will need a security code to access the site.
Do you accept bookings from young persons or all male/all female parties?
The park and its facilities are intended for family and adult holidays only. Therefore single sex groups are
not allowed. Bookings are also not accepted from parties where all persons are under the age of 21.
Do you permit smoking?
No.
For the comfort of all our future guests we do not allow smoking inside the property. If you smoke outside, please remember to carefully extinguish your cigarette as obviously the decking is flammable and you are
in a woodland area.
Do you accept pets?
No, again for the comfort of all our future guests, some of whom may be allergic to pet fur.
Is the location suitable for disabled guests and families with children in pushchairs?
The lodge is located on a hill so may not be suitable for people with limited mobility, also, it is accessed via 3 steps and door widths are standard..
What facilities are there on the park?
On-site facilities include an a la carte restaurant, cocktail bar, family lounge bar, takeaway, children's indoor amusement arcade and outdoor play
area, shop/off licence, laundrette.
Free facilities:
wi-fi, children's playground, picnic area by the marina where you can also feed the ducks or watch the boats. The site now has free wi-fi access covering most of the park..
Chargeable activities:
indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and gym, internet access via terminal, laundrette.
Why aren't you open all year round?
The park is
within the Lake District National Park and has to close to comply with the regulations imposed by the Lake District National Park Authority. The park is now open from 1st March until the following 14th
January. Unfortunately holidays CANNOT therefore be taken at any other time of the year.
Why don't you produce a brochure?
Brochures are very expensive to produce and are soon out of date. We only own ONE lodge and our website contains up-to-date information so please visit regularly to check for updates. If you add yourself to
our mailing list we will notify you of any special offers or late availability. |
